Unexpected Swan


spotted at the Memphis Botanic Gardens, where I've been spending a lot more time since The Husband bought that membership for me.

    Lovely. They are such graceful creatures. But how they honk when they come flying, they make quite a racket. Looks like you got really close.

      there is a concrete walkway across this pond, and i stood on it to take the picture. the swan was fearless. it ignored me completely lol. i'm careful around swans and geese, because they are so territorial. not to be messed with!
