San Miguel Coffee Co

Back during the summer we took a vacation to a state park near Winchester, TN, and while we were there we discovered the San Miguel Coffee Co and had dessert there one day. They have a Facebook page.

See the painting of Saint Michael on the wall on the right side of the photo below:

The menu was recently changed and they didn't have either of the first two desserts The Husband ordered, but I ordered their apple turnover:

I thought the Winchester town square was pretty, an attractive centerpiece to the town with interesting architecture.

Bluebeard and Elizabeth host a weekly blogger gathering where we share a post that includes a beverage. Please join us.

  2. It's amazing that I was in the process of adding your name to the linky list, then saw you had already beat me.

This looks like a lovely little coffee shop. Your turnover looks good, but so did the dessert your husband ordered. Was it cheesecake? Never saw cheesecake topped with whipped cream, though. I did like the mugs. Looks like they served tea and food, too.

A lovely town. Rather varied architecture, but I sure liked the art deco building.

Thanks for sharing San Miguel Coffee Company and downtown Winchester, TN with us, along with your desserts and coffee with us for T this Tuesday.

    1. Yes, cheesecake. I usually see it topped with fruit, so this was new to me, too. Aren't those mugs cute?!

  3. The setting for your coffee and pastry looks very comfortable and inviting. I like apple turnovers myself so I probably would have joined you in that choice.
